 Ramiz Raja requests people to keep Arabian Sea clean

Former Pakistani cricketer and Pakistani cricket commentator Ramiz Raja has appealed to Karachi residents to keep the Arabian Sea clean.

Raja uploaded a video on his social media account that people at Do Darya restaurant throwing food in the sea for fishes which is actually polluting and affecting the marine life.

Raja said,

“People need to tell their kids about the environment and then we can expect better from them.”

Earlier this month, Shaniera Akram shared pictures and videos of hazardous medical waste on the beach asking authorities to declare emergency till it is cleaned.

Karachi’s garbage has become a major political issue with all the major political parties having a stake in the city blaming each other for the mess. However, Sindh government has recently announced to clean the city with a massive cleanliness drive in the provincial capital.
