Yogurt -1/2 kg
sugar – 3 tbsp
Whole cumin – 1 tbsp
Whole red chilli round – 6
Salt – as per required
Moong lentils – 1 cup
Maash lentils – 1 cup
Tamarind juice – 1 cup
oil – for frying
Take a frying pan, add Whole cumin and whole red chilli and saute it for 3 mins. Now grind it and make powder.
Soak both the lentil for 30 mins and blend it into a thick paste.
Add salt, cumin and red chilli powder.
Heat oil, scoop out the paste through a table spoon and put it in the oil and fry these pakoras until golden brown.
Now, put the pakoras in a bowl of water.
Take a bowl, add yogurt and tamarind juice and beat it, now add soaked pakoras in it. sprinkle salt, cumin and red chilli powder.
Punjabi Dahi Baray, main item for the iftaar is ready to serve. Try and enjoy !
