Dialogue Pakistan has brought Mutanjan recipe for you all to fill up your dastarkhwan with some sweetness.
Sela Rice – 1/2 Kg
Sugar – 1/2 Kg
Ghee – 1/2 cup
Ashrafi – 1 cup
Cham Cham – 1 cup
Khoya – 1/4
Almonds and Pistachios – as per required
Chicken breast piece – 1 thinly sliced
Cloves – 6
Green Cardamom – 6
Food colour – Red, yellow 3 drops
Soak Sela rice for 40 minutes then boil it, stain the water and keep aside.
Now, take a fry pan, heat ghee and add chicken, saute it till it is cooked.
Add sugar, yogurt, cloves, cardamoms and 1 cup of water.
Cook it till it converts into a thick paste.
Add boiled rice in it, add khoya, cham cham, ashrafi, almonds and pistachios, mix it and let it on the stove until water absorbs completely.
Turn of the stove, give it a topping of khoya, cham cham, ashrafi, almonds and pistachios.
Mutanjan is ready to give sweetness to your taste-buds !
