 Ramadan moon will be sighted on April 2: PMD

Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has indicated that the first Ramadan will be on April 3.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said that the moon of Ramadan is likely to appear on Saturday, April 2. Weather is likely to be clear and cloudy in some places on April 2.

“The new moon of Ramadan, 1443 AH, will be born on crossing conjunction point at 11-24 PST on 01-04-2022,” a statement from the meteorological department said.

Earlier, Dr. Al-Ibrahimi Al-Jarwan, chairman of the Saudi Emirates Society and a member of the Arab Union for Astronomy, announced that the month of Ramadan in Saudi Arabia is likely to appear on April 1 and the first fast will be on Saturday, April 2.
