Raja Pervaiz Ashraf likely to be elected unopposed Speaker NA
PPP leader and Former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf has submitted nomination papers for the post of Speaker National Assembly.
Raja Pervez Ashraf solely submitted the nomination papers for the post of Speaker of the National Assembly within the stipulated time.
Former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf was proposed and supported by PPP’s Syed Khurshid Shah and Naveed Qamar.
Stipulated time has ended for the candidates to submit nomination papers for the post of Speaker National Assembly.
Sources in the National Assembly Secretariat said that Raja Pervez Ashraf could be elected unopposed as Speaker.
