Rain expected to begin in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from Wednesday

PESHAWAR: Rainfall is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday, according to the Meterology Department.

Rain will likely continue for a week more, the department said. The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) issued a post to the district administration highlighting instructions to be taken in advance for concerned agencies in the case of heavy and torrential rains.

Floods can likely cause a crisis in Peshawar. Landsliding is also dangerous in several hilly areas. Severe weather is also expected.

The PDMA has advised to take precautions while travelling.
