KARACHI: Rain with wind and thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Islamabad, Northern Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the next twelve hours, the Met Office reported.
Hailstorm is also expected at a few places during the forecast period. Snowfall over high mountains is also expected in Malakand Division and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Temperature of some major cities recorded on Saturday morning is as follows: Islamabad 15 °C, Lahore and Peshawar 19 °C, Karachi 26 °C, Quetta 9 °C, Gilgit 10 °C, Murree 8 °C and Muzaffarabad 14 °C.

On Oct 18, rain and hailstorm had turned weather cold in different parts of Pakistan including Islamabad, Lahore, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Azad Kashmir.
Heavy rain lashed on Thursday night and Friday morning in Islamabad, Lahore, Kot Momin, Toba Tek Singh, Safdarabad, Pindi Bhattian, Nowshera, Risalpur, Swabi, Malakand, Muzaffarabad and Mirpur and It hailed in Attock, Pindigheb, Mardan, Karak and adjacent areas.
The Met Office has predicted that the westerly wave, which is affecting upper parts of the country, is likely to persist. While in Karachi, weather will remain warm and windy.
