Quetta police find Rs85,000 in clothes of a beggar

QUETTA: Police have found Rs85,000 in clothes of a beggar in Quetta after he was brought in injured condition at Civil Hospital.

Officials of Medical Emergency Response Centre rushed him to the hospital, after the beggar got injured in an accident on Saryab road, said police.

Upon searching his clothes to find an identity card, they found bundles of banknotes and coins. The medical team of police impounded the money and admitted the patient to a ward for treatment.

Police said the injured was identified as Shah Mohammad who rode donkey cart. They said the money would be handed over to the man’s son. While, a case has been lodged against unidentified motorcyclists.
