On Monday (May 12), Qatar Airway said it will offer free air flight tickets to healthcare experts internationally to thank them for their services during coronavirus outbreak.
As a way of thanking them, the airways confirmed the 100,000 free tickets for medical personnel worldwide, according to the information.
The sources said healthcare workers from all states around the world will apply for free tickets.
The giveaway will start on May 12 (Tuesday), and end on May 18 (Monday), according to the official announcement.
The health care provider can register for the offer on Qatar Airways’ official website.
Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Airways postponed all flights but the service will begin soon.
The official twitter of Qatar Airways wrote, “United in dedication, we share our gratitude. On the occasion of International Nurses Day, from tomorrow until 18 May we’re giving away 100,000 complimentary return tickets to healthcare professionals anywhere on our network at http://qatarairways.com/ThankYouHeroes.”
More than 4,297,300 people worldwide have been infected with coronavirus, and 289,101 were also killed by the virus.
