LAHORE: Lahore Qalandars were fined for maintaining a slow over-rate in their loss against Islamabad United in the seventh match of the HBL Pakistan Super League 2020 at the Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday.
Since this was their first offence, all 11 players have been charged 10 per cent on each of their match fees as in accordance to Article 2.22 of the HBL PSL Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, that deals with minimum rates of over offences.

Lahore Qalandars were two overs short of their target in the specified time after taking time allowances into account as well.
The Qalandars, if found guilty of another slow over-rate in the tournament, will be fined 20 per cent on each of their match fees and labelled as their second offence.
The charges were leveled by Ranmore Martinesz and Rashid Riaz (on-field umpires), Shozab Raza (third umpire), Nasir Hussain (fourth empire). Match referee Mohammad Anees has imposed the fines based on the sanctions for Minimum Over Rate offences.
