The Punjab Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has imposed a ban on TikToker’s entry into parks, on Sunday.
According to PHA, all Tiktokers will be bound to take permission from PHA’s officials for the access to the parks.
Moreover, the PHA is further deciding to put a ban on the entrance of more than two men in public parks.
The decision was taken after the horrific harassment incident which took place at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore.
Earlier on August 14, a Tiktoker, Ayesha Akram faced assault and harassment by a crowd of 400 men at Lahore’s Greater Iqbal Park.
As the videos of her disturbing assault went viral three days later, people on social media reacted with anger and disgust while demanding justice for the victim.
