The government of Punjab plans to get bus services up and running again very soon.
On Friday, a meeting was held with transporters, chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, to finalize the standard operating procedures once the buses are back on the track.
There was talk of reopening urban and intra-city transport.
It was determined that wearing masks and using sanitizers would be mandatory, while overloading would be strictly prohibited and controlled.
Two seats will be given per person.
Commuters will be forced to use the bus back door to enter and leave, and air conditioning will be turned off.
