The Government of Punjab rejected former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s plea to extend bail petition.

In a press today, Punjab Law Minister Raja Basharat declared that the government had agreed not to consider Nawaz’s appeal.

Nawaz was given 16 weeks to seek treatment in London, the minister said, yet he was never admitted to a hospital. He said that they did not share any specific details about Nawaz’s medical treatment in London.

In this regard, he said they would write to the federal government and it will now be up to them to decide the result.
