Following the increase in cases of coronavirus in Punjab, the province agreed to extend the restrictions until April 14.
Punjab government spokesperson Musarrat Cheema shared the government’s notification in a tweet from official Twitter account. She also urged the public to follow the government’s instructions to ensure they don’t leave home when they need to.
In the cases of coronavirus, the province registered a spike on Monday. In the province the total number of cases has risen to 1,493.
Meanwhile, the provincial police department said in a notification that from today until April 14, under-trial prisoners will no longer be seen in any court due to coronavirus outbreak.
In Pakistan, the number of cases crossed 3000. Sindh too extended its lockdown until April 14 to prevent coronavirus from spreading.
