Punjab decides to regularise the subsidy on flour
LAHORE: A high-level departmental meeting chaired by Punjab Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan has decided to regularise the subsidy on flour and further lower the prices of subsidized flour.
Speaking on the occasion, Abdul Aleem Khan said presently, the subsidized flour is available for every citizen.
He said that under the new system, subsidized flour would be provided only to the needy people for which the data of Ehsas Program would be used and this step would further reduce the price of flour.
Abdul Aleem Khan directed the authorities to submit recommendations for targeted subsidy so that the final briefing could be given to Prime Minister Imran Khan on this matter.
He said that the bag of subsidized flour would be of green colour so that it reaches only to the deserving people.
