Punjab CM Usman Buzdar visits different areas sans protocol in Lahore

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar was on Sunday seen driving his car without any protocol to visit different areas of Lahore.
Sources said the chief minister stopped at different traffic signals during the travelling. They said he stopped by Services Hospital and heard issues faced by people.
In October 2018, CM Usman Buzdar had said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government had eliminated the notorious VIP culture.
He had said he, an ordinary citizen, was working as the chief minister and he hailed from the most deprived area of Punjab. He had said he had full understanding of the issues facing people and he was taking different measures for their resolution.
“People voted for the Tehreek-e-Insaf for bringing changes in their lives and the ruling government is working 24 hours to meet their expectations,” he had said.
In December 2018, Prime Minister Imran Khan had posted a picture of Buzdar listening to grievances of poor people. He captioned this picture, “This is Naya Pakistan. A picture is worth more than a 1000 words.”
