Punjab chief minister inaugurates mobile milk testing laboratories in Lahore

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Wednesday inaugurated six mobile milk testing laboratories and bike squad in Lahore.
Director General of Punjab Food Authority Irfan Memon briefed the chief minister about labs.
Speaking on the occasion, the Punjab CM said that in the first phase, these milk testing labs would check quality of milk at entrance points of the city. He said that no milk carrying vehicle would be able to enter the city without proper checking and testing.

He said that after Lahore, work of these labs would be expanded to other divisions and districts as well.
Sardar Usman Buzdar said that bike squad will be able to check quality of edible items being sold in narrow streets and areas. “This squad has been setup to address sale of substandard items at shops,” he said.
