“Public figures are also human beings”, Aima Baig rests her case after cheating allegations
Aima Baig is in the headlines for the past couple of days when a British model accused her of cheating on Shahbaz Shigri with Qes Ahmed. The singer broke her silence over the allegations and said, “I’ve never claimed to be perfect, but that doesn’t also mean I am what I am being portrayed to be”.
British model named Taloulah Mair accused Aima Baig that she was involved with her ex-boyfriend, photographer Qes Ahmed and cheated on her then fiance Shahbaz Shigri.
Yesterday, Aima Baig broke her silence and issued a detailed statement on her Instagram stories while saying, ““Bol liya aap sab nay? Karlia bully ya abhi bhi or thora rehta ha to wo bhi karlain. Without even knowing the entire truth. Ab main thora sa kuch boloun”.
She further stated, “Although I did leave a very respectful statement to put an end to this whole situation. But some people want to stay [quiet because] they know how many more ugly things would come out, not just about them, but about their families too. I still want to keep up with that respect that I gave to these people. In fact to this one person and family because ‘that is not how my upbringing is”.
While referring to the British model Aima said, “whatever happened, I’ve been going through some major trauma, depression right now because people don’t know what actually happened. And these extras who just want some followers and money…please give them that so they can move on with their lives”.
Today, the singer shared her final statement regarding the allegation against her. Aima took to her Instagram story and wrote, “Since internet users act as a jury and judge, you are entitled to have your opinion but I implore you to make sure it is guided by a wholistic perspective of the narrative and validity and authenticity of ‘proof’ presented otherwise no woman or man will be safe from slander and harassment”.
While putting her case to rest, Aima said, “I have never claimed to be perfect, but that doesn’t also mean I am what I am being portrayed to be. Public figures are also human beings, please remember that”.
