 PTI’s Azadi March: More than 1700 protestors arrested from Punjab: Police

Punjab police have arrested more than 1,700 PTI’s protestors on Thursday as Imran Khan flagged off a Long March towards Islamabad to demand fresh elections.

The IG Punjab’s office released details of arrests across the province, according to which 1756 PTI workers were arrested.

According to details, detention orders have been issued for 48 PTI workers arrested in Faisalabad and they have been remanded in custody for 7 days.

A case has been registered against 200 people in Sialkot.

On the other hand, all the arrested leaders and activists of PTI in Sukkur have been released while 14 persons were arrested in Hyderabad for violating section 144.
