 PTI, PPP, MQM-P join hands to address issues of Karachi

KARACHI: A six-member committee has been constituted to address the issues of Karachi.

The committee comprises members of the Pakistan Tehreek Insaf, Pakistan Peoples Party and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan.

Spokesman of Sindh government Murtaza Wahab has said that the Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah is the chairman of the committee, while Asad Umar, Ali Haider Zaidi, and Amin-ul-Haq from the federal government and Syed Nasir Hussain Shah and Saeed Ghani will represent the Sindh government in the committee.

Nasir Hussain Shah said that the provincial government was working with the federal government to resolve issues of the megalopolis. However, he said, no union was formed with the centre in this regard.
