PTI leader ‘kicked’ journalist as he asked question about low attendance of party workers

A PTI leader kicked a journalist who was covering the PTI’s long march activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Hangu district earlier today.
A journalist of a private TV channel asked PTI leader Mohammad Arif Orkazai about more vehicles than supporters in Long March.
“How many workers are with you, look at your vehicles and see the workers (number of workers),” journalist said.
Following the question of journalist Aisarul Haq, PTI leader kicked the journalist as seen in the viral video.
Separately, journalist Aisarul Haq explained in a video statement that there were disagreements between PTI MPAs and MNAs in Hangu and in light of this, he asked PTI MNA Nadeem Khayal about low attendance in their convoy.
But his personal secretary, Muhammad Arif, “kicked me, broke my mobile and tortured and abused me,” he alleged, adding that he was injured in the incident and had filed a complaint with the police.
On the other hand, PML-N lawmaker Hina Parvez Butt questioned why was the PTI “expressing its outrage” at journalists on the arrival of fewer protesters than expected.
“Now if journalists would ask questions that why is the number of workers less, they would be kicked. They (journalists) will ask questions and they should ask that why did the fitna fail so quickly?” she added.
