PSL 5 official anthem ‘Tayyar Hain’ receives backlash
The official anthem of Pakistan Super League’s fifth edition ‘Tayyar Hain’ has been released and people are not liking it.
The song has been sung jointly by Junoon’s Ali Azmat, Asim Azhar, Haroon Rashid and Arif Lohar. Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan produced the music video and Kamal Khan directed it.
The official anthem of this year’s PSL is composed using different instruments like tumba, chimta, rubab and harmonium.
The music video features Pakistan’s T20I skipper Babar Azam along with Hasan Ali, Rumman Raees, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shan Masood.
“Tayyar Hain, through its lyrics and music, captures the mood and celebrates the fact that the entire Pakistan Super League 2020 is taking place in Pakistan for the very first time,” read a statement on the PSL website.
Although, PSL official anthem is making headlines, but majority of people are disliking it. The song received a great amount of backlash from netizens as they were missing Ali Zafar’s voice in the song.

The PSL’s fifth edition will commence at Karachi’s National Stadium from February 20 with defending champions Quetta Gladiators up against two-time winners Islamabad United.
