Protest held against India in occupied Kashmir

Today (Oct 11), Kashmiris have held forceful anti-India protest across different parts of the occupied Kashmir and revoked for the special status of the valley by India.
According to Kashmir Media Service. as the Juma congregational prayers culminated, people took to the streets in Srinagar, Badgam, Ganderbal, Islamabad, Pulwama, Kulgam, Shopian, Bandipora, Baramulla, Kupwara and other areas of the occupied territory and raised high-pitched pro-freedom and anti-India slogans.
The protesters at several places were subjected to brute force by Indian police and troops. Many protestors sustained injuries in the brutal actions of forces’ personnel. For the 10th consecutive week, the Indian authorities did not allow people to offer Juma prayers at Srinagar’s historic Jamia Masjid and many other major mosques or shrines in the Kashmir Valley.
While talking to the media, the protesters told that they will continue their freedom struggle despite all odds. They thanked Pakistani people and Prime Minister, Imran Khan, for supporting their cause and expressing solidarity with the people of occupied Kashmir.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan led a human chain today in Islamabad in solidarity with Kashmiris and told the world that Pakistan will always support Kashmir.
