LAHORE: School owners are not contented with the 23rd November’s decision of schools’ closure and are lashing back at it in the form of protests.

All Private Schools Association held a protest at Lahore’s Liberty Chowk and warned that if schools will not get permission to reopen, then they would go beyond and spread the protests to Islamabad.

Book Publishers Association has also favored and joined the protest as their publications of books are going wasted and they couldn’t endure the loss without the governmental aid. At least 10,000 schools, colleges and universities are notified to keep them shut until the pandemic is over.

President of All Private Schools Association ‘Kashif Mirza’ opposed the decision of closing down schools, He says, “Government has shut down only the educational institutions and not any other businesses and the fact cannot be contradicted as it is genuinely leading into extreme financial crisis.”
