Probe into Dasu bus tragedy to be completed soon: interior minister

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad on Saturday said the Chinese investigation team was being provided complete assistance and the probe into the Dasu bus incident would be completed soon.
He said no mischievous element would be allowed to damage relationship between Pakistan and China.
“Investigation into Dasu bus tragedy is underway following the directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan,” he said while talking to Chinese Minister of Public Security, Zhao Kezhi on telephone.

13 people including nine Chinese nationals were killed as a result of an explosion that hit a bus of Dasu Dam workers in the region of Upper Kohistan on July 14.
The interior minister said Pakistan and China were time-tested friends and they had always shown strong relations in time of need.
Sheikh Rasheed assured that the Chinese workers in Pakistan would be provided foolproof security.
On the occasion, the Chinese minister of public security expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of human lives of both the countries.
