Prince Harry, Meghan Markle signs agreement with Netflix
British Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, who separated from the royal family, have formed a production company and signed an agreement with the online streaming website Netflix.
The couple, who resigned as senior members of the royal family in January 2020 and announced their intentions for financial independence, formally announced their separation from the royal family on March 9 this year, after which they needed a decent source of income.
Under the agreement, the two will make documentaries and series for Netflix, feature films, script shows and children’s programs, but no terms or conditions have been set.
According to Variety, Harry and Meghan said, “Our lives have given us the opportunity to understand the power of the human spirit, the bravery, the power to emerge, and the importance of relationships. Our focus will be on creating entertainment programs that provide hope and awareness.”
