Prime Minister to launch the largest tree-planting campaign in the country’s history

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will launch the largest monsoon tree-planting campaign in the history of the country from Kahuta today. In the 20-day tree planting drive, 200 million saplings will be planted across Pakistan.

According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Kahuta today. Environmental Advisor Malik Amin Aslam will also accompany him. During his visit, Imran Khan will launch the biggest monsoon tree-planting campaign in the history of the country.

The Prime Minister will also give a special address to 3,000 Forest Scouts. The tree-planting campaign started from Kahuta today will spread across the country from tomorrow. The tree-planting campaign will start simultaneously in all four provinces.

It has also been decided to enlist the services of Tiger Force in the tree-planting campaign. Tiger Force will provide services for planting trees in 36 districts of Punjab.

Environmental Advisor Malik Amin Aslam, Usman Dar, Chief Secretary Punjab prepared the plan. Malik Amin Aslam said that the spirit of Tiger Force volunteers is commendable.
