Prime Minister Imran Khan rejected the summary of increase in prices of petroleum products

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has rejected the summary of increase in prices of petroleum products, The Prime Minister said that oil prices were rising due to inflation all over the world but the government would do its utmost to save the people of Pakistan from this inflation. Therefore, the Prime Minister deferred this summary.
Dr Shahbaz Gul, Special Assistant to PM Imran Khan, tweeted that no increase was being made in the prices of petroleum products. He said, at that time the government would bear the burden of this rising price and try to save the people from it, which is why Prime Minister Imran Khan has rejected the summary of increase in prices of petroleum products.
Earlier, OGRA had sent a summary of increase in prices of petroleum products to the Prime Minister’s Office. Petrol was proposed to be priced at Rs 10.27 per liter, Light diesel at 11.34, High speed diesel at 13.39 were proposed. But the prime minister rejected it in the public interest.
