PM Imran Khan will visit Karachi today to distribute loan cheques to recipients of the Kamyab Jawan Programme.
There will be a ceremony at the Governor House to award checks to young people who have applied for loans from different districts of Sindh.
Last year the Kamyab Jawan Program was launched under which Rs100 billion will be distributed in the form of loans ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs5 million to young aspiring business owners.
PM Khan will also participate in a fundraising ceremony for the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, during the one-day tour.
He will also consult with Imran Ismail, Governor of Sindh, and Murad Ali Shah, Chief Minister.
A final decision on the transfer of Sindh IG Dr Kaleem Imam is expected to be taken by the PM.
He was previously removed by the CM who said he had been in contact with the PM. Shah said PM Khan gave him an assurance that he would abolish the IG.
The prime minister is also scheduled to meet Pir Pagara at Kingri House.
PM Imran Khan is not scheduled to hold a meeting with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P). The MQM-P has confirmed the reports of not having received any invitation from the prime minister as well.
