Prime Minister decides to take action against dissident lawmakers

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to take legal and constitutional action against its dissident members of national assembly.
An important meeting of government spokespersons was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan in the context of current political situation.
Fawad Chaudhry, Babar Awan, Khusro Bakhtiar, Shehzad Wasim, Hamad Azhar, Shibli Faraz, Farrukh Habib, Amir Dogar attended the meeting held at the PM House.
The current political situation was discussed in the meeting. Federal Minister of Law and Justice Farogh Naseen was also present in the Prime Minister’s House. Legal issues related to dissident members of PTI were discussed in the meeting.
Sources said, in the meeting Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to approach the Election Commission of Pakistan against the dissident members of National Assembly.
According to sources, the Prime Minister has directed Speaker National Assembly and the legal team to take legal action against the dissident members.
“It is clearly written in the constitution that if someone goes against the party policy, it can be de-notified under legal action.” PM said
According to sources, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that I will not leave anyone, I will fight till the last ball.
Prime Minister Imran Khan said that sacks of notes have been opened for the members, three women members come to the reserved seat, how they could go against the party policy, adding he would not come under pressure through the Opposition’s blackmailing and asked the meeting participants to remain relaxed, and on March 28, all would come to know that the no-confidence had failed.
