Prime Minister Imran Khan announced the celebration of Tiger Force across the country on August 9, while hinting at reopening the registration of Tiger Forces after Eid.
In a short address to the nation after meeting Special Assistant Usman Dar on Tuesday, July 28, Prime Minister Imran Khan announced the celebration of Tiger Force Day on August 9 across the country. Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he would be a part of the Tiger Force campaign in the tree-planting campaign.
He said that members of the Assembly and Chief Ministers would also take part in the campaign. By the year 2023, we have to plant 10 billion trees. We have to eradicate pollution from the country, pollution is affecting the health of the people. Pakistan is among the 10 countries affected by global warming. Due to pollution and global warming in Pakistan, it is necessary to plant trees.
Earlier, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan Usman Dar called on him at the Prime Minister’s Office. During the meeting, the Prime Minister held consultations on tree planting campaign across the country. The Prime Minister also expressed happiness over the global acceptance of the Tiger Force, while hinting at reopening its registration for more people to join the Tiger Force.
