The price of 20 kilograms flour sack has gone up to Rs 150 in Peshawar on Wednesday.

According to sources, the rate of 20 Kg of fine flour has increased from Rs 950 to Rs 1,100. On other hand, 85 Kg flour sack is being sold for Rs 4,800 in Peshawar. The increased prices of the flour has created difficulties in people’s life.

“Flour is now out of control and reflection of what the PTI government is doing,” said Muhammad Amin, the resident of Peshawar Ring road.

“I came today to buy flour for my home but stunned to hear the new price,” he further said.

Pakistan is an agricultural country and grows huge amount of wheat every year, but the increasing flour prices show that the incumbent government has miserably failed to deliver and control the prices even of flour.
