Preparations underway to welcome Women’s Day 2021 in Pakistan

The International Women’s Day is going to be observed on March 8. The day marks the struggle for women’s participation in politics and workforce, and their demand to end sexual and domestic violence, along with health rights and the right to live as equal citizens.
The preparations have been started by women, transgender community, and non-binary folks by following all the Covid-19 SOPs.
However, in Karachi, the Aurat Dharna will be held at Frere Hall, on 8th March at 3 PM.
Whereas, the Aurat March Lahore’s organisers and volunteers have written graffiti regarding their anger and demands on walls, trains, and street corners.
Meanwhile, In Islamabad, people have created posters with determination and solidarity with slogans to get freedom , portraying their pain and fight to get quality and justice.
