PPP’s Sharjeel Memon undergoes angioplasty

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon, who was rushed to hospital after complaining of chest pain, successfully underwent angioplasty on Saturday.
According to the doctors of NICVD Hyderabad, two stents have been inserted into the PPP stalwart’s clogged arteries to clear the blockage.
Hospital sources said, Sharjeel Memon had suffered a heart attack.
The hospital administration said that PPP leader’s condition is better now and he will be shifted to home after 24 hours.
Angioplasty is a minimally invasive procedure used to widen narrowed or obstructed arteries or veins.
