PPP’s second phase of protest will set in motion today

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) farmers’ march will start across the country today. PPP workers will protest with Kisan Ittehad in all divisional headquarters of the country including Sindh and Punjab.
According to reports, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will join the protest march in Hyderabad at 3 o’clock and will address a gathering of farmers’ rallies on Thandi Road near Hyderabad State Life Building.
PPP senior leader and former prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf said, PPP is holding a tractor march across the country today to show solidarity with the farmers.
Raja Pervez Ashraf added that Islamabad March would be a turning point and the opposition would have to work together against inflation and unemployment.
On the other hand, talking to media in Hyderabad, Naveed Qamar said that PPP has been protesting since January 21. The farmers are facing difficulties, fertilizer crisis in country is artificial while the government has laid the rubble of its incompetence on the farmers.
