PPP leader Khursheed Shah opposes ‘resigning from assemblies’

SUKKUR: Pakistan Peoples Party’s senior leader Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah has opposed giving resignations from assemblies. He further advised the opposition parties to go for protests only.
As per the report of a private news channel, a well-informed source has confirmed that the PPP leader gave advice to PML-N’s central leadership when the latter visited Shah in a hospital.
Khursheed Shah was being treated in NICVD hospital in Sukkur when PMLN’s Pervez Rashid and Marriyum Aurangzeb came to visit him in order to inquire about his health. They also discussed country’s political situation with him.
Shah is currently facing corruption charges by NAB which has nominated him and 17 others, including his two wives, two sons, and a son-in-law, in a reference pertaining to making assets worth Rs1.23 billion beyond his known sources of income.
