PPP expected to join PDM again

As per sources, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is expected to meet Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazl -ur- Rehman on Friday (today).
Sources privy to the matter reveal that PPP is likely to rejoin the opposition alliance party PDM after Bilawal Bhutto Zardari today’s expected meeting with the head of PDM Maulana Fazl -ur- Rehman.
The strategy to strengthen the opposition even more against the PTI’s government will be an important topic to be discussed in today’s meeting. Inflation and the current situation of the country will be another cornerstone agenda in today’s meeting.
Previously the co-chairman of PPP had stated that the party will support the opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif in the parliament and will fully back the opposition’s decisions against the current administration.

It should be mentioned that earlier in April, The Pakistan Peoples Party announced to step down from all positions of the Pakistan Democratic Movement.
PPP co-chairman Bilawal Zardari took this decision after the PDM issued a show cause notice against his party.
“We will continue ‘the real opposition’ against the government. We also demand from the PDM leaders to seek unconditional apology from the PPP and the ANP for issuing the show cause notice against them,” said Bilawal Zardari while addressing the media.
Bilawal said whoever wanted to resign from the assemblies, he may resign. Don’t impose your decisions on other parties as we will not take dictation from anyone, he stated. He said resignations from the assemblies would be their last option. He also said that a coalition was run on the basis of equality and respect.
But it looks like tides have turned as PPP will reunite with PDM to regain the strength of opposition to pressurize the government.
