KARACHI: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has directed all its assembly members to submit their resignations at the Bilawal House.

According to Express News, PPP’s higher leadership has directed all the assembly members including the chief minister to submit the resignations in written form at the chairman secretariat.

On the other hand, 14 members of the opposition parties in Balochistan have announced to resign from their seats in protest against the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf government. 13 of them have already submitted their resignations to the Pakistan Democratic Movement leadership.

PPP leader Sharmila Farooqui said that her party’s MNAs were submitting their resignations. After submitting the resignations, the Central Executive Committee would decide fate of the assemblies, she said.

“It holds no importance for the PPP whether it remains in the government or not,” she said.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said that they carried resignations in their pockets.
