A victim of fraud by owner of Porsche dealership in Lahore has claimed that license of Abuzar Bokhari, CEO Porsche Pakistan, has been cancelled after he reported about the scam to the company’s headquarters in Germany.
Abuzar Bokhari has reportedly swindled people of 800 million rupees in the name of advance payment for cars.
Talking to Daily Pakistan, Mohammed Ali Moeen said that he paid the Pakistani dealer Rs5 million in advance for Porsche Taycan and for several months the dealer kept making excuses for delay in delivery of the car and when he finally asked him to return the money then he said that he did not have the money with him.
“In short, he stopped receiving my call. Following which, I asked my legal department to launch an FIR against him. Since then, Abuzar has gone underground,” he said.
Ali Moeen said that he had emailed to Porsche Germany regarding the fraud following which they cancelled the dealership license of the Lahore office. He said other victims also might have informed the German automobile manufacturer.
Porsche has also removed the Pakistani dealer’s name from its website. The Lahore-based office had started its function in 2008.
