 Poor woman robbed of livelihood in Karachi

KARACHI: Assistant Commissioner Civil Lines Fatima Bashir has allegedly robbed a poor woman of her livelihood in Karachi.

Mrs Nasir used to make both ends meet through selling kebab and potato chips in a cabin rickshaw. She has claimed that her rickshaw was broken after she refused to give money to police and government officials.

She said her husband was unemployed and she had two children, so she had to earn livelihood for her family.

In a video message, the victim woman has exposed the system of bribery for setting up a makeshift businesses in the megalopolis.

Mrs Nasir said she did not want to pay them bribe for she considered it a sin.
