‘Police did not verified the collected evidence from me’ says brother of Nazim Jokhio

All the accused in the Nazim Jokhio murder case including PPP MPA Jam Awais was presented in the court on Tuesday (today) where their physical remand has been increased for two days.
Nazim Jokhio’s murder case is moving forward as the physical remand extension has been given by the local court.
Police presented all the six accused in the murder case of Nazim Jokhio where the investigation team requested an extension of the physical remand.
The counsel has requested the court to apply the terrorism charges in the murder case. However, the court has directed the counsels to present their arguments in the next hearing.
Yesterday, the police found the mobile phone and clothes of the victim Nazim Jokhio from the dry well near Jam house.
People use that dry well to burn the garbage, same well was used to destroy the phone and clothes of Nazim Jokhio.

Police informed the court that the recovered damaged evidence has been sent for forensic testing.
However, the brother of the victim, Afzal Jokhio mentioned that “police did not verified the collected evidence from me.”
This statement by Afzal Jokhio did raise many eyebrows and people are starting to think the evidence may have been tampered with.
Afzal Jokhio further pleaded to the court to get the mobile phone of SHO posted in Memon Goth police station checked. As per the claims from the counsel, “SHO is in contact with the suspects.”
The case proceeding has been adjourned till November 18 as the court granted the two days physical remand extension of all the accused in the murder case of Nazim Jokhio.
Earlier, it was revealed by the guard of MPA Jam Awais that the victim was told to ask for forgiveness from Jam Awais but Nazim Jokhio denied to comply.
After which he was tortured with a stick which resulted in the death of the victim.
