Police, CTD arrest TTP terrorist in Charsadda

CHARSADDA: In a joint operation of police and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), a terrorist belonging to the Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has been arrested in Charsadda.

The suspected terrorist was arrested from within the limit of Saru police station. The suspect was using two names during criminal activities said police.

Two hand grenades and a Kalashnikov were recovered from his possession. He has allegedly admitted to his involvement in 21 saboteur activities in Charsadda and Mohmand district. He admitted that he abetted suicide bombers of Tangi Kachehri and FC Qila.
