Police catch serial killer after three years in Karachi
KARACHI: On Monday, the Karachi police arrested Abdul Hakim, an alleged serial killer who has committed crimes for over three years.
The Peerabad Investigation Police arrested the serial killer and provided crucial details about the accused individual Abdul Hakim.
It is reported that the accused has committed three incidents of serial killing in three years and was hiding.
In 2018, Hakim had poisoned a girl who identified as Marina to death. Abdul Rahim and her father Abdul Hakim were arrested in the killing of Marina. The arrested individuals were sentenced to life imprisonment.
A man named Zaib and his nephew Salman were killed in different periods. In the Matta police station in Swat, there was a case registered of Salman’s murder. Last month, the accused also shot and killed a civilian named Zaib in Qasba Colony.
The investigation team revealed to the media that Abdul Hakim and his brother were charged with the murder of Zaib.
SSP West stated that these crimes were out of family hostility, and the alleged serial killer Abdul Rasheed and others were involved in committing them. The accused, his brother, and other accomplices also killed their uncle only some days ago.
