PML-N’s Ishaq Dar takes oath as Finance Minister

PML-N senator Ishaq Dar on Wednesday taken oath as the finance minister of Pakistan following his return to Pakistan from London, after the self-imposed exile of five years.
On this occasion, President Dr. Arif Alvi administered oath of office to Ishaq Dar.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and members of the federal cabinet also participated in the swearing-in ceremony at the President’s House.
Yesterday, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar had taken the oath of Senator in the upper house amid the protest of PTI senators.
Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani administered the oath to Ishaq Dar as a senator.
On Monday, Finmin Ishaq Dar returned to Pakistan from London after 5 years of self-imposed exile and expressed his determination to improve the country’s melting economy.
Ishaq Dar arrived Pakistan from London with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Dar said that PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif have given him the responsibilities of the finance minister.
