PML-N’s Azam Nazeer Tarar takes charge as law minister again

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday appointed Azam Nazeer Tarar as law minister again.
He had submitted his resignation to the premier a month ago after the ‘anti-establishment slogans’ raised at the Asma Jahangir Conference in Lahore in his presence.
Yesterday, PM Shehbaz rejected the resignation of the Senator and directed him to continue his work.
PML-N’s statement said that “Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has rejected the resignation of the party’s central leader, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar.”
The statement further read “with the message of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the delegation of federal ministers reached the residence of Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar in Islamabad and informed about the decision of the premier.”
The delegation of ministers included Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Economic Affairs Minister Ayaz Sadiq and Railway Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique.
Earlier, Azam Nazeer Tarar had resigned from the post of Law Minister on October 24, after which Federal Minister Sardar Ayaz Sadiq was given the additional portfolio of Law Minister.
