 PM telephones President, Chiefs of Services to congratulate Eid

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has telephoned allies including President Arif Alvi and Chiefs of Armed Forces to congratulate them on Eid.

Premier Shahbaz Sharif telephoned President Arif Alvi, Chairman Joint Chiefs General Nadeem Raza, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Air Chief Zaheer Ahmed Babar and Naval Chief Admiral Amjad Niazi and congratulated them on Eid.

PM Shahbaz Sharif also telephoned Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas to congratulate him on Eid and condemned the ban on Eid prayer gatherings on the people of occupied Kashmir.

The Prime Minister pledged political, moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris till they get the right to vote.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also called on the Acting Governor of Balochistan including the Chief Ministers of Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan on Eid and congratulated them on Eid.

On the other hand, Premier Shahbaz Sharif also telephoned the leaders of all the allied parties and congratulated them on Eid.

The Prime Minister telephoned former President Asif Ali Zardari, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Chaudhry Shujaat, Sardar Akhtar Mengal, Mahmood Achakzai and Aslam Bhootani and other political leaders to congratulate them on Eid and discuss other issues including political situation in the country.
