PM Shehbaz to leave for 2-day Turkiye visit after appointing new army chief

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will leave for Turkiye on a two-day official visit on November 24 after appointing the new chief of the army staff (COAS).
PM Shehbaz will hold meetings with the Turkish leadership to discuss bilateral trade issues during the visit.
According to the government sources, the Prime Minister will leave for Turkey after appointing the new chief of the army staff (COAS).
Besides covering the entire gamut of Pakistan-Turkey bilateral relations, the two leaders will exchange views on regional and international issues, say sources.
PM Shehbaz Sharif will be accompanied by Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, and other senior ministers during his two-day Turkey visit. This would be his second visit to Turkey since assuming office in April.
Diplomatic sources have informed that the PM Shehbaz will inaugurate the frigate built by Pakistan Navy with the cooperation of Turkiye during his visit to Turkey.
PM Shehbaz Sharif was invited to visit Turkiye by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
