PM Shehbaz announces Rs5 million for family of female reporter killed in PTI’s long march

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced Rs5 million financial aid for the family of Sadaf Naeem, a female reporter who was crushed to death during an accident in PTI’s Long March near Sadhoke area of Gujranwala.
The Premier has also directed the concerned authorities to immediately complete the procedure and hand over the checks to the mourning family.
On the other hand, Punjab government spokesperson Musarrat Cheema informed that Punjab CM Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has also announced Rs2.5 million for Sadaf Naeem’s family.
The spokesman of the Punjab government said that Rs1 million will be given to Sadaf’s family by the Directorate General Public Relations (DGPR) department, adding that, the Punjab government will bear the educational expenses of the deceased’s children.
Sadaf Naeem, a journalist working for a private news channel, died after being crushed under PTI’s container while its long march was headed toward Kamoke from GT Road Lahore on Sunday.
