PM Shahbaz Sharif’s federal cabinet takes oath at Presidency
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s federal cabinet has been sworn in at Aiwan-e-Saddar (President House).
The swearing in ceremony of the federal cabinet was held at the Aiwan-e-Sadar where Chairman Senate and Acting President Sadiq Sanjrani first administered oath to the federal ministers after which he administered oath to the ministers of state.
The cabinet has 31 federal ministers and three ministers of state, while three advisers are also part of the cabinet.
The federal cabinet includes 14 members of PML-N and 9 members of PPP.
PML-N’s Khawaja Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, Rana Sanaullah, Ayaz Sadiq, Khurram Dastagir, Rana Tanveer, Maryam Aurangzeb, Saad Rafique, Riaz Hussain Pirzada, Azam Nazir Tarar and Javed Latif took oath.
PPP’s Khurshid Shah, Naveed Qamar, Sherry Rehman, Murtaza Mehmood, Ehsan-ur-Rehman Mazari, Abid Hussain Bhayo and Shazia Murree are in the cabinet while MQM’s Aminul Haq and Faisal Sabzwari are also the part of federal cabinet.
JUI-F’s Asad Mahmood, Maulana Abdul Wasi, Mufti Abdul Shakoor, Talha Mahmood, BAP’s Israr Tareen, Nawabzada Shah Zain Bugti, Tariq Bashir Cheema took oath as federal ministers while Ayesha Ghous Pasha, Hina Rabbani Khar, Abdul Rehman Kanju and Mustafa Nawaz took oath as the Minister of State.
