PM Shahbaz reappoints Dr Saeed Akhtar as PKLI chairman
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Monday reappointed Dr Saeed Akhtar as Chairman of Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute (PKLI) besides reviving the board.
Dr. Saeed Akhtar has been recalled from the USA and re-appointed as Chairman PKLI, the PM Office said.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute and Research Center and made important decisions while presiding over the meeting.
He told the media that the manner in which Dr Saeed Akhtar was discharged had caused immense damage to the hospital.
He said that as soon as he assumed the office of the Prime Minister, he contacted Dr. Saeed Akhtar, he returned from the United States and today he has reinstated to the charge.
The Prime Minister said that Dr Saeed Akhtar has been reinstated as the Chairman of the Board of Governors of PKLI.
